Some of the strongest people we meet don’t call themselves strong.
They’re called Mum.
This Mother’s Day, we recognise the women who support, advocate, care, and keep going — often without recognition.
The work you do matters more than you know.
Wishing all mothers and carers a meaningful and well-deserved day 💙

At a glance, most people can tell — this isn’t safe.
The ramp is too steep, too short, and doesn’t allow for safe access in or out of the home.
Setups like this might look like a quick fix, but they often create a higher risk of falls and make daily use harder, not easier.
This is where proper assessment matters.
An Occupational Therapist looks beyond just “adding a ramp”.
We assess how someone actually moves, uses their space, and what is needed to make access safe, practical, and sustainable.
The right design:
• reduces risk
• supports independence
• works in real life, not just on paper
If something doesn’t feel safe — it usually isn’t.
And with the right guidance, it can be done properly.

A small change to a home can make a big difference to someone’s life.
These custom access ramps were recently completed to support safer and more independent entry and exit for our client. What used to be a barrier is now a smooth, stable, and accessible pathway.
At Louden Group, our Occupational Therapists don’t just assess — we work closely with clients, families, and builders to design practical solutions that actually fit real-life environments.
✔️ Safer access
✔️ Increased independence
✔️ Confidence at home
Every home is different, and the right solution isn’t one-size-fits-all.
If you or someone you support is finding it difficult to safely access their home, our team can help assess, design, and guide the right modifications.
