There is something about winter that calls us back to ourselves.

The days are shorter.
The evenings cooler.
Life naturally draws inward — and sometimes, that is exactly where we need to go.

Next Thursday we gather again for Breathe Into Being — a guided breathwork journey held in a warm, grounded space at Beachside Pilates & Yoga Wellness Centre in Karnup.

Whether you have been before or this is your very first time — you are welcome here.

If you have never tried breathwork, think of it simply as coming home to your body. Using conscious, guided breathing we create space to soften, to regulate the nervous system, and to release what has quietly been building beneath the surface.

No special skills. No experience. Just your breath and a willingness to show up.

For those returning — you already know what this space holds. Come back and let yourself be held again.

A space to soften.
To regulate.
To release what has been carried.
To simply be.

Thursday 18th June 2026 6:45–8:30pm

Please arrive from 6:30pm for a 6:45pm start - Beachside Pilates & Yoga Wellness Centre — Karnup

No experience needed. Just come as you are.

What to bring:
🧘 Yoga mat or towel
🛏 Pillow and blanket
💧 Water bottle
📓 Optional journal or eye mask

Bookings are essential: https://events.humanitix.com/guided-breathwork-journey

It feels good to be returning.

After a beautiful summer series of beach mornings, cold water, sunrise breath and community by the ocean, our Breath Reset gatherings are moving back into their regular monthly rhythm at Beachside Yoga in Singleton.

The seasons are shifting.
The evenings are becoming cooler.
Life begins to draw inward again.

And maybe that is exactly why we still need the breath.

A space to soften.
To regulate.
To release what has been carried.
To reconnect with ourselves and with one another.

THIS evening we gather again for Breathe Into Being. Guided breathwork, gentle spoken word, presence and pause held in a warm and grounding space.

No experience needed.
Just come as you are.

Anger is real. It’s raw. And honestly? It hurts. 🔥

A brother tagged me in this post recently.. it’s not easy going through challenges when fear or hurt is the root of your emotions. In this case the emotion was anger 🔥

It’s not just an emotion — it can feel like it takes over, like it turns you into someone you don’t recognise.

I feel this too. More than people might think.

But I’m learning. Learning to sit with it, to move through it safely, and to dissolve it without letting it destroy what matters.

And sometimes? You can’t do that alone.

Sometimes you need that one person who sees you in it and pulls you back — not by dismissing what you feel, but by reminding you of who you are.

Asking for help with your anger isn’t weakness.
It’s actually one of the bravest things you can do. 🙏

If you’re carrying it right now — you don’t have to carry it solo. 💛

A breath before the long weekend.

Before we gather.
Before we remember.
Before the pace of the days ahead begins to fill.

This is your invitation to pause.

To return to the quiet place within you that is not rushed,
not striving, not holding more than it needs to.

Breathe Into Being
A guided breath reset for body, mind and spirit.

Thursday 23rd April
6:45pm – 8:30pm
Beachside Pilates & Yoga Studio, Singleton

This is a space to slow the body down before the weekend opens out.

To gently release what has been sitting beneath the surface.
To allow the breath to do what it was always created to do
restore, regulate, bring you back into alignment.

Together we will move through breath that steadies the nervous system, breath that creates space where there has been pressure, breath that softens what has felt tight or held.

There is nothing to perform here.
Nothing to get right.

Only an invitation to come as you are and let your breath meet you there.

You may find yourself leaving lighter, clearer,
more anchored in yourself as you step into the days ahead.

All are welcome whether this is your first time or you have journeyed with us before.

What to bring:
A mat or towel
A blanket and pillow for comfort
An eye covering and journal if you feel to

If cost is a barrier, reach out.
This space is for people, not just for payment.

Spaces are limited and bookings are essential

As we move toward Anzac weekend, a time of remembrance and reflection, this is a moment to come home within yourself.

To pause.
To breathe.
To be.

This morning was simple work. Very intentional work.

Resistance mask. Zone 2 & 3. Respiratory training.

This isn’t a gimmick — when you understand the physiology, it becomes one of the most intentional tools in your kit.

Here’s what’s actually happening:
🫁 Stronger respiratory muscles
The resistance trains your diaphragm and intercostals — better mechanics, better CO2 tolerance, better breathing under pressure.
🏔️ Simulated altitude stimulus
Restricted airflow mimics reduced oxygen availability, stimulating red blood cell production and improving oxygen delivery over time.
🧠 Improved CO2 tolerance
Regular exposure to that “air hunger” trains your nervous system to stay calm and functional longer before fatigue hits. That transfers far beyond the gym.
❤️ Deeper cardiovascular adaptation
Zone 2 & 3 is where the real aerobic foundation is built — mitochondrial health, metabolic efficiency, nervous system regulation. The mask amplifies that stimulus without extra load on the legs.
💪 Mental resilience
Learning to stay calm when breathing is restricted is training in itself. That stillness under pressure carries into everything.

A big part of my understanding here comes from the Oxygen Advantage Instructors course with and the Performance Breathing course from — genuinely game-changing.

⚠️ Note: The mask doesn’t perfectly replicate altitude — the hypoxic effect is real but modest. Keep intensity managed. If dizziness shows up, ease off immediately. Always listen to your body.

Sometimes the smallest shifts in how you breathe create the biggest changes in how you perform, recover, and live.

Curious about breathwork or building resilience from the inside out? I offer 1:1 coaching, workshops and breathwork sessions. Link in bio.

This past Sunday felt like a quiet continuation…
a breath carried forward from our final Alive & Well summer gathering. It truly was a weekend marked by deep, unexpected peace in a world that feels anything but.

And then… we stepped into something even deeper.

We had the honour of serving alongside A powerful organisation devoted to strengthening the bond between parents and children
within military and high-stress service families.

Families who have known distance.
Sacrifice.
Time apart that words don’t always reach.

Their programs create space, real space, for reconnection, resilience, and relationship to be rebuilt in the quiet, honest places of being together again.

And into that space, we were invited.
Breath. Cold water. Sound. Spoken word.
Not as performance, but as permission.
Permission to feel. To soften. To come back into the body after years of holding.

We watched walls lower, not through force, but through presence.
We saw families laugh, connect, breathe side by side, sometimes for the first time in a long time.
And there is something sacred about that.

A special thank you to whose incredible heart and clear vision for The Younger Heroes continues to create spaces where families can truly reconnect. Your invitation for us to step into this work again this year, was both an honour and a reflection of the depth of care you carry for every person involved.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to Darren from for once again coming alongside this work with incredible generosity.

We don’t take this lightly. To be trusted in these spaces. To witness these moments. To hold even a small part of these stories.

It is an honour.
And we carry it with deep gratitude.
