Old Play

It is with sadness that we will be playing our last gig with Pete as lead singer for Old Play on the 21st June at East Fremantle Yacht Club

Pete, you're an excellent singer and we can see it in the response of the audience when we play and also the kind feedback we get after the gigs when people speak to us of your talent. The rest of us in the band know this and have been so privileged to play with you, it's been an honour!

As Pete and his lovely young family pick up sticks and move to Canada, we don't just say bye a truly talented singer, frontman and all round good guy but we're saying bye to Danica, Leila, Hendrix and Marley too, all familiar faces we see at our gigs and have supported us with their time, support and patience - we are really gonna miss you guys. Hence why we invite all to come down see us play in the current format one last time.

Whilst we appreciate all venues hosting us, you did a great job in helping us promote the Sunday session and as it turns out, a large engaged crowd sang, danced and drank merrily all afternoon.

We played our last gig of 2025 to a good size and spirited crowd at the smashing East Fremantle Yacht Club on Sunday evening.

It's been a great year for us as a band, 4 years in from only thinking of playing a one-off gig. We've developed close ties individually and with our families from barely knowing one another at all to seeing our kids grow up together.

Whilst playing music together is the objective, it's so much more than that.

Thank you to our families for letting us rehearse through the weeks and giving up some weekend evenings for us to play. Also to all those who come support us, it really is truly appreciated.
