Meet our new Chief Executive, Dr Sarah Love đź‘‹
We are delighted to introduce Dr Sarah Love, a seasoned executive and non-executive director, to the team. With an impressive background in private, nonprofit, and government sectors, Sarah brings a wealth of experience in health and education as well as disability.
Her networks, particularly her interactions and relationships with people living with disability are broad and deep and she is passionate about furthering the DAWA mission and improving the West Australian experience of disability.

🗓️ Challenging the Gaps - 22 March 2024
’s next summit will create a space for parents, carers, and siblings of people with significant intellectual to speak about the challenges they encounter with laying and building a lasting foundation of for their loved one.
The day will include presentations, panel discussions, and focus groups (PODs), structured to unearth what peace of mind looks like and what’s needed for parent and sibling carers today.

The Disability Health Network is seeking feedback on the recently launched Hospital Stay Guidelines.
The Network is inviting people with disability and disability service providers to complete an online survey to identify what resources should be developed as part of the Hospital Stay Guidelines to support people with disability who may go to hospital.
