GOOD GAMES MORLEY: Rizz Phys Wizz Live is just ONE WEEK away!

Always wanted to play an RPG (roleplaying game) like Dungeons & Dragons, but in an hour, with less rules, and with the audience used as a completely chaotic random character-generator? Then Rizz Phys Wizz is for you!

Violet, Riley and Aaron from the hugely popular nerdy internet video team Good Games Morley star in this anarchic live improv comedy show.

Only ONE MONTH until one of the most important bands in modern heavy music is landing at The Rechabite - DEAFHEAVEN.

Joined by special guests Nothing and SPY, this tour follows the release of their 2025 album 'Lonely People With Power'. This is one of the band's most expansive and human statements - an album about confronting isolation while searching for connection, growth, and the possibility of redefining one’s destiny.

Barefaced Stories is three weeks away and this month's theme is 'Pics or It Didn't Happen.'

This is one of the biggest crowd favourites of the entire Barefaced year because for one glorious night only, storytellers don’t just tell the story…

They bring the evidence.

Screenshots. Home videos. Old photos. Text messages. Questionable fashion choices. Deeply regrettable haircuts. Actual proof that these stories really happened.

So stay tuned! 👀

NGALAK NIDJA BILYA (We are the River) is a q***r fundraiser party in honour of NAIDOC Week, produced by Tanesha Bennell (Boorloo Justice) in association with The Rechabite.

This event is an opportunity for learning, dancing and celebrating all flowing into one exciting and powerful event.

Come join us in the ancient wetlands of Boorloo, and dance and twirl on the same ancient boodja of those who came before us paying homage to First Nations trailblazers and LGBTQIA+ trailblazers alike.

The theme and title of this event represents the season of Makuru (the wet season on Noongar Boodja) and the deep connection Noongar/First Nations peoples have with the waterways - specifically on Noongar Boodja the Derbarl Yerrigan (swan river) as the resting place of the Noongar creation spirit the Waugal. It also acknowledges the wetlands that existed prior to colonisation - that the Perth (Boorloo) CBD now sits on top of.

Geordie Greep, the celebrated frontman of Black Midi, is bringing his debut solo album, The New Sound, to The Rechabite Hall this August.

The New Sound is a record that throws open the doors on what happens when there’s no one else in the room to answer to. As he puts it “Music can be so much more than learning to play the same as everybody else. It can be anything you want.”

ONE WEEK until critically acclaimed West Coast-based experimental hip-hop trio, clipping. heads down under for the very first-time.

Most recently the band diverted from their sci-fi storytelling and released a set of horror-based concept albums, THERE EXISTED AN ADDITION TO BLOOD and VISIONS OF BODIES BEING BURNED. Line of Best Fit's JackBray hailed it as "sonically intriguing" and "another successful experiment for the groupand one of the eeriest examples of modern hip- hop to date."
