Today we’re celebrating two very special members of our FiRST family, Michelle & Rosalie, who are both celebrating an incredible 10 years with FiRST Early Learning Endeavour Hills. 🧡

🐰 Hop into happiness! Easter joy and bunny fun all around at First Early Learning! 🐰

We got to be little chefs and make our very own choc coated bananas!
First, we peeled and chopped the bananas, then dipped them into yummy melted chocolate.

The best part was sprinkling coconut on top, it looked like little snowflakes! ❄️

We had so much fun getting creative and making our own tasty treats… and even more fun eating them! 😋

Last week, Cook Annie was fortunate to attend the Nutrition Resource Pack (NRP) workshop delivered by Monash Health.

During the session, we explored the powerful impact of how we talk about food, and how we can support children on their journey to trying new foods and building confidence in their choices. The workshop highlighted the importance of creating positive and supportive food environments within early learning settings.

The Nutrition Resource Pack is a fantastic suite of practical tools and activities designed to introduce core food groups in a fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate way. It supports toddlers and preschoolers in building lifelong healthy relationships with food.

Today, Kinder Teacher Mewanda received this wonderful resource pack and is excited to begin implementing it in her classroom. We look forward to seeing our little learners explore, taste, and grow with confidence!

Here at FiRST Early Learning Pakenham we value and appreciate all the hard work and dedication our Educators demonstrate every single day. To celebrate our incredible Educators we have commenced Employee of the Month.

This month our Employee of the Month is awarded to Chloe for her outstanding creativity and dedication in the classroom. Chloe consistently demonstrates a deep commitment to our Reggio Emilia inspired approach, creating an environment where children’s curiosity, ideas and voices are truly valued.

Chloe consistently shows initiative and passion in her lead educator role daily, and in her additional role as Sustainability Leader. Amazing work Chloe! Congratulations🧡

Our outdoor space transformed into a rainbow of colours as we celebrated Holi ❤️💛🩷💚💜🧡💙

Healthy homemade pizzas were on the menu with Cook Aruni and our Little Learners today! 🍕👩‍🍳

The children explored a variety of fresh, colourful ingredients and practised their fine motor skills as they spread sauce, sprinkled cheese, and carefully chose their toppings. We talked about healthy food choices, different food groups, and how each ingredient helps our bodies grow strong and stay energised 💪🥦🍅

There were lots of proud smiles as everyone enjoyed their own delicious creations. Such a fun (and tasty!) way to learn about healthy eating together!

* Applying Sunscreen Every 2 Hours
