It meant a lot hearing how the experience gave you a glimpse into the softer, more human side of Qwrk and the people behind the work — and how it reinforced the trust we’ve been building together over the years.

The FAAA is pleased to invite members to register their interest in a proposed FAAA Cebu (Philippines) Study Tour in August 2026. The FAAA study tour will take members to Cebu, Philippines, to gain practical insight into how offshore support models are being used by Australian advice practices — not as a cost‑cutting exercise, but as a strategic response to capacity, compliance and growth challenges.

The 3.5-day program (excluding travel) will include small‑group office visits with four leading offshore service providers, facilitated discussions and conference‑style sessions, alongside opportunities for peer learning and cultural immersion. DAY 3: Chasing Waterfalls and Finding Ourselves Where It All Comes Together 🌊✨

For the last day, we headed south to experience Cebu’s most breathtaking natural wonder, and it proved to be the perfect way to close out 72 unforgettable hours in Cebu with our clients. 💙🌴

The group experienced Tumalog Falls in Oslob, a place that felt almost unreal upon arrival. Unlike roaring waterfalls, Tumalog flows like a delicate curtain, cascading gently over a wide limestone cliff into a shallow pool. 💧🌿

In Moalboal, the group experienced the world-famous Sardine Run, and no words could truly prepare anyone for it. Just a few meters from shore, the clients and Qwrkmates found themselves surrounded by a massive, swirling school of sardines—millions moving as one. 🐟✨

And just when it felt like it couldn’t get any better, the group had the chance to swim alongside sea turtles. 🐢 The reef is home to resident green and hawksbill turtles, often seen gracefully gliding near the coral walls beside the sardine schools, an experience both humbling and unforgettable.

The pace slowed as everyone embraced the laid-back rhythm of the south, sharing a simple yet satisfying beachside meal. 🍽️🌊 No rush, no noise, just good food, ocean breeze, and a quiet sense of gratitude that comes after a full and meaningful experience.

The day wrapped up back in the city, where some of the Qwrkmates warmly welcomed the group at The Reef for a Southeast Asian fusion dinner. 🌆🍜

It was the perfect ending—great food, familiar faces, and conversations that carried the energy of the past three days. Stories were shared, laughter flowed easily, and reflections ran deep. ✨

Beyond the places visited, it was truly about the experiences shared together—a meaningful culmination of connection, exploration, and unforgettable moments. 💙

Day 2 of 72 Hours in Cebu 2026 was the moment our “why” stopped being just words and became something we all experienced together.

We spent time looking ahead, sharing the future of Qwrk alongside Fin365, with our plans, vision, and the partnerships we’re building with our clients. It was a meaningful conversation centered on how we’re evolving together, with people and technology working hand in hand as we move forward on this journey.

We also deepened conversations around who Qwrk is as an outsourcing partner, sharing not just what we do, but why we do it. At the heart of it all is our why: We Love To Help. ❤️

Through our outreach program, Bridging Communities, we had the privilege of introducing our clients to our beneficiary, the Mary Queen of Heaven Missionaries. The nuns from the community gave us a glimpse about Home of Love, their rehabilitation and livelihood training center where they do incredible work supporting women and children who have survived human trafficking and abuse.

Living out our purpose as one community, and with the help of our clients, we gave back through gift checks and toys, small gestures that carry meaningful impact. It was a deeply moving experience and a beautiful reminder that when we come together, we can create lasting change. 💖

We capped the day at TOPS, where laughter, great conversations, and a feast of Filipino cuisine were enjoyed against the stunning backdrop of Cebu City lights. ✨

An inspiring day filled with heart, connection, and the true spirit of being Better Together.

72 Hours in Cebu is back! 🎉

We welcomed our clients for another incredible 72-hour experience, and the energy was amazing from the get-go!

The day began with warm catch-ups, as everyone finally connected in person and got to put faces to names.

For some, this was the first time meeting face-to-face with their clients and team members after working together virtually, making every conversation and shared moment even more meaningful.

We then dove into a series of sessions sharing what makes up Qwrk, from our purpose and values to the mindset and initiatives that shape how we grow and work together every day.

We then explored the rich culture and history of Cebu through a heritage experience that gave everyone a deeper appreciation of the city’s vibrant roots and stories. It was the perfect mix of learning, discovery, and fun!

To wrap up the day, everyone came together for a relaxed dinner followed by a karaoke session that brought out plenty of laughter, singing, and unforgettable moments 🎤

Nothing says “strong working relationship” like surviving an escape room together. 🧩

We recently welcomed Steven King and Anita King of Secure Advice and YV Financial Services to Cebu for a visit that turned out to be equal parts insightful, meaningful, and unexpectedly competitive.

Beyond the lunches, coffee runs, and escape room chaos, the visit also gave the team the chance to learn directly from the people they work closely with every day. From walkthroughs of how Steven approaches client meetings to one-on-one conversations about teamwork, growth, and culture, the experience created space for both learning and genuine connection.

And then came the escape room. Suddenly it was no longer bonding—it was survival. Some went full strategist, some stayed calm under pressure, and others discovered they take puzzles very personally. 🧠😂

More than anything, it was a reminder that strong working relationships aren’t built through meetings alone. They’re built through conversations, shared experiences, and moments that make people feel comfortable enough to just be themselves.
