Allgemein Rottweilers

Looking forward to a great day at the Royal on Sunday! Come and say hi!

🐾 ROTTWEILERS AT THE MELBOURNE ROYAL SHOW! 🖤💛

Heading to the Melbourne Royal Show this Sunday, 27 September? Make sure you stop by and see the Rottweilers!

We have 10 Rottweilers entered, with judging by Elina Haapaniemi from Finland. Rottweilers are the second breed being judged for the day, following the Dobermanns, so they’re expected in the ring fairly early — approximately 9:30–10:00am.

After judging, come and meet some of the dogs and chat with Rottweiler owners and exhibitors. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see the breed up close, ask questions and learn more about the Rottweiler.

🖤💛 The Rottweiler Club of Victoria wishes all of our Rottweilers, their owners and handlers the very best of luck for the day. Most importantly, enjoy your time in the ring with your dogs!

And if you’re visiting the Show — come and say hello! 🐾

Happy New Year to all of our followers. We hope 2025 is filled with exciting adventures with our Rottweilers!

Not long to go until the 32nd Australian Rottweiler National Championship Show hosted by the Rottweiler Club of NSW.

Our small team will be heading up to NSW and we look forward to celebrating the Rottweiler with friends and fellow Rottweiler enthusiasts.

All the best to those travelling next week and may we always remember that regardless of the results, we are all winners because we own a Rottweiler 🖤🤎🐕

Great work by the Rottweiler Club of Victoria Promo Team on the weekend representing our wonderful breed, the Rottweiler. Thank you for your dedication and work promoting our breed 🖤🤎

2024 off to a great start for our small kennel!

Photos from our recent Easter weekend away over in New South Wales at the Northern Districts Rottweiler Club double header Championship Shows and Breed Survey.

First time for Winx in the Intermediate class (18 months - 3 years) - youngest in the class.

Show 1 - Judge: Kevin Nugroho (Indonesia) - SG5 (Very Good Rating)
Show 2 - Judge: D. Francisco Xabier Castro Touís (Spain) - V2 (Excellent Rating)
Breed Survey - Judge: D. Francisco Xabier Castro Touís (Spain) - Pass

Most pleasing for us over the show weekend was the comments from Xabier who really liked Winx, and he spent time doing a training session with her after the breed survey.

Make sure you meet the parents.

Never purchase a puppy online or without seeing where your puppy is coming from. Puppy farmers (who keep and breed animals in often appalling conditions) and puppy scammers (who take money for puppies that do not exist) rely on impulsive purchasers who want a puppy at any cost.

By meeting the mother of your puppy, you will get to see the conditions in which the mother and pups are kept, and you will also get to see her interacting with her puppies. Temperament and behaviour are highly heritable, so meeting the mother of your puppy (and if possible, the father) will give you a good idea of how your puppy is likely to look and behave as an adult.

~ Multi V Rated Australian Ch. Allgemein Winx ~

Nice little cherry on top for Miss Winx in addition to achieving her Australian Champion title in 2023 💥

Only shown at All Breeds Shows in the second half of the 2023 show year and Winx managed to nab #1 Rising Star - Rottweiler - Victoria. She also was the only Victorian Rottweiler in the Top 20 in the National Breed Rising Star Comp 🌟

Whilst there are not many Rottweilers being shown in the All Breeds ring in Victoria and we are a kennel that largely focuses on participating in Speciality Shows, we believe Winx is of excellent quality (and her Speciality Show results support this!), and feel that All Breeds judges should see what correct Rottweilers look like 😊

Winx has been a wonderful ambassador for the breed alongside her time in the All Breeds ring as well and we are very proud of this.

Now to focus our attention towards furthering her training and ticking off a few more titles from the list!
