Exploring the beauty of the Kumaon region!

03/04/2023

Hello Canada! You beauty 😍

31/12/2020

Took a short trip over the Christmas break to Kinglake. Found this little beauty on one of the multi layers of Mason falls. Due to low flow and not a lot of rain I was able to get close to this.
Also, finally took my new gear for a run after a while.

Hope you have a safe and a Happy New Year. 2020 is a low bar so it should be a given. Looking at you 2021.👀😜🎉😁

Coming out of lockdown is not a bridge too far now. 🚣‍♂️🌉

The "Bridge of Sighs"
~~~
As dramatic as the name. This bridge was called so because it provided the last look of Venice before convicts were sent to prison. And they would sigh at the final view of this beautiful and unique city.
~~~
A little grim but this image also kind of epitomises the feeling I and many Melbournians (and others in lockdown) might be having right now. Looking forward to opening up after months and slowly moving towards it. A little light at the end of the tunnel.

What are you looking forward to doing most once the lockdown ends?

Living through the archives. 😌
This lockdown is giving me the opportunity to scroll through the archives and rediscover the images which I have taken over time and might have forgotten.
I took this image at a beautifully located hotel at one end of Phewa lake which almost seems like a secluded island.
Spent a whole afternoon just soaking in the beautiful serene atmosphere. I had to wait quite a while for this fisherman to stay still and also find the perfect frame without other paddle boats streaming through.

Missing those travel days! Time for some throwback. 🙂
This shot is from Phewa lake in Pokhara, Nepal. There is something magical about these colourful boats on the lake shore. Got lucky that there was barely any wind and I was able to take this shot handheld!
