Sooo my mate finally got some spare time to finish his freeby light. i posted me sussing the control gear for it the other week.
I dont know whoever tried to fix it before me, but they had it switching to a dead short 🤨.. So no wiring diagram just a little bit of brain power, a new fuse and new switch later shes up and running!!.the lack of brightness in the picture is due to the tight beam focus & taking the photo as soon as it got switched on- so its still warming up..

So my torches arrived this morning..
I must say not what i expected like i new the sizes so i was aware their small models..but damn! Like the 2 limited edition Cu ones i got a a sale bundle are small but have enough weight to no youve still got it in your pocket...

Now the S1R batton II is so small and light it fell like dropping a dollar out of your pocket. You just wouldnt know itd there!
So im going to have a play and see which ones i want as a quick inspection lt. For work and the others for edc 👍🤙

Couldnt be more spot on, i think this should be taught in high school in a marketing subject or incoperated into their learning somehow, because no other industry bar the construction and matinance industry seem to have this problem..

So i spoke to a VOLTEX rep yesterday He called me a day after i made a profile on their website- voltexelectrical.com.au.

SO.... what do i think of their products?

I found them to be a great product. Fitting off was a breeze & they feel quite sturdy too. They just have that quality feel to them.

My suggestion?... If your looking for alternatives to Clipsal, this is a very good option.
