If you're still using chemical-filled cleaning products in the kitchen then you're absorbing chemicals in through the skin, you're eating them and you're breathing them in 😲
The chemicals found in kitchen cleaning products are great at weakening the immune system, causing and contributing to skin problems, getting the gut microbiome way outta whack, and messing up our hormones. Among other things! Basically, they make us sick. Ick.
I made the switch to natural cleaning products many many years ago and I know my health thanks me for it! It can seem overwhelming at first so my tip is to start with one particular type of product for one area of the house to swap and get comfortable with before moving to the next. Slowly you can transition all cleaning products over and you may even choose some DIY options. It's pretty affordable and easy to do these days with so many natural and safe products and ingredients on the market.
If you'd like to know what my fave home and office cleaning brand is let me know in a comment or DM, I'm happy to share and chat 😊

From two really bad lower back injuries I had back-to-back (pun not intended but I like it!) when I was a teen (1999 and 2000) and other health issues the intervertebral disc between my L4 and L5 in my spine is degenerated (showed up black on an MRI scan while all others were white).
The second one happened literally three days after my physio said my first injury (a full year later of constant treatment) was 'better'. I was devastated when the second one happened and it was way worse; a pr*****ed disc.
It'll never fully heal but I'm pretty sure (in my gut) I've reversed some of the actual degeneration, maybe only a little, but I really doubt all the gelatin I consume hasn't helped that particular spot in some way. I know I've reduced the angle of the prolapse and I know I've strengthen my bones and joints in general, 100% certain and I don't need a scan to tell me that. I can feel it.
Anyhoo that's a bit about me! Thought I'd share. It's not necessarily easy to talk about but it's a big motivator for how I treat my body now and why I love helping others with pain and injury issues.

⏰ Reminder! If you're not currently getting much quality nature time into week every week.. make it happen! 🌿
There's no doubt nature is the ultimate healer. It's important to utilise it (not just a quick walk outside covered up in shoes, clothing, sunnies and a hat) and indulge our senses as intensely and as often as possible, for our emotional and physical well-being.
The less clothing and distractions the better. The more naturey the better. But if you can only manage a walk to the park with shoes on once a week and that's more than you were getting before... GREAT!
Aim for deep nature connection time though. Schedule it into your calendar. Plan for it. Say no to other things. Do it. Your body and brain needs it! 🌞

Make this for brekkie, lunch or dinner, there are no rules! It's just a healthy meal the whole family can dig into and enjoy ANY time of the day!
It's great for brekkie because it's super low carb nutrient-dense so it'll keep hunger at bay until lunch time (if you're eating Primally and not having grains or sugary fruit at the same time). And it's a quick and easy one to whip up at the end of a tiring day.
HERE'S THE RECIPE FOR YOU:
🌟 4 eggs whisked
🌟 Add in 400g mince of choice (I like lean beef or lamb mince for this)
🌟 Stir in some grated cheese of choice, however much you like. I use Spanish sheep or an aged cheddar.
🌟 Mix in some herbs of choice, about 1 tbsp or so, I used chives and spring onion for this one
🌟 Stir in some sliced tomato
🌟 Add mineral salt to taste and some organic garlic for extra flavour (I always have a good dried one in the pantry I get online)
🌟 Bake at about 180 for as long as you need to be able to insert a knife into the centre and no runny egg shows up. The top should have a nice crust on it too!
Oh, remember to line your dish with some baking paper so it doesn't stick (hate it when that happens!)
You can top/side with some avocado like I did or not, up to you!
Enjoy xx
