Located at 13 Reynolds Street, Mareeba, Granite Engineering & Manufacturing Company Pty Ltd has built up a reputation over the years for being one of the leaders in the manufacture of innovative and custom built processing and packing equipment to enhance the operations of all primary producers on the Tablelands. In addition, Granite Engineering & Manufacturing Company Pty Ltd contracts to the general public with sheet metal fabrication, structural steel constructions, and general jobbing work. Granite Engineering and Manufacturing custom-build products to order. From BBQ’s, ute trays, back of ute dog cages and cabinets to camping gear and more, the possibilities are endless.

Fabricator / Welder – Aluminium TIG
Key Duties
· TIG welding aluminium to a high standard
· MIG welding aluminium and steel to a high standard
· MIG welding experience is preferred but training can be provided for the right candidate
· Fabrication of canopy and tray components from drawings
· Use of brake press, guillotine, saws and general workshop equipment
· Working with jigs, templates and production processes
· Maintaining quality, accuracy and tidy workmanship
· Collaborating with the team to meet deadlines
