Following Saturdays (18th November 2023) AGM and after much discussion with those present, it was decided the Highfields Lions AFC will dissolve as per our constitution.

We thank you all for years of support.

Thursday Training continues 4.30-5.30pm at Kratzke Oval.

A reminder to be able to access this wonderful opportunity you need to be a registered player for the 2023 season.

This training session is targeted at our U10’s & U12’s age groups. Siblings of these age groups however are more than welcome to participate if they are also a registered player.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The 2023 season is now on hold for the Highfields Lions 🦁 AFC!!

Due to low registration numbers we in consultation with AFLDD have made the difficult decision to put the 2023 season on hold.

What does this mean for you??

Our registered players will remain registered with the Lions. If their families choose for them to continue to play this season they will gain a ‘season permit’ with a club of there choice.

If you still haven’t registered yet you still have time. You can still register under our banner with our Early Bird fees structure and be granted a season permit also. The executive committee will remain and as always are available for anything you need.

We will continue our commitments with the Darling Downs Crows and look forward to seeing some great matches being play out at our beloved Kratzke Oval. We will definitely be looking for volunteers to help out at their home games in the canteen etc.

Please know that as an Executive, we have done everything possible to avoid this final result. I would personally like to thank our executives and committee members for all their hard work and continual dedication towards making the Highfields Lions 🦁 what they are today.

We will continue with our Thursday afternoon training/development sessions 4.30-5.30pm for the remainder of the season. We would love to see you all there and continue with the Highfields Lions 🦁 way.

WE WILL BE BACK!!

We will be working with AFLDD early Term 4 to restart our wonderful club for 2024.
