Just a weekly update
Feeling like I could return to work, but the boss says NO.
Walking feels better, walked up to the shop on Sunday about 1km. Felt a bit worn o I t afterwards. Starting to sleep longer without pain not waking every hour.

Hi all
Just an update on my recovery. Starting week 5 out of surgery. Been feeling really good, still having trouble sleeping more than 2hrs at a time. Started my recovery exercise program last week. Now walking for 15 - 20 minutes a day, weather permitting.

It is with great news that we can let you all know that Gordon is now back at home where he belongs.

He still has a way to go but we at least have him here.

Please continue to work with us, as we negotiate doctors and recovery appointments, we will try to keep you all updated if Janette needs to be closed for the day.

Thank you all for everything and to those that have kept mum positive through this.

*** Update ****

Gordon is now back on the ward and starting his recovery walking and deep breathing. He has a long way to go but we are grateful to have come this far.

Please note the shop WILL be OPEN Saturday 9th May 9am - 3pm. Janette will be travelling back tonight to be ready to help you all tomorrow.

Again to all who have sent thoughts and prayers we are for ever grateful.

The journey will continue.

***Update for Gordon ***
Firstly, Thank you to all for your support.
Gordon has come through the surgery and is now awake and in recovery. He now starts the long journey for recovery.

Good morning All. Just a quick update. Gordon is checked in to the Wesley and his surgery is scheduled for today. Thank you for all your wonderful support. I will update this page when I am able too. Big day ahead for all of us.

UPDATE Gordon's surgery

As promised we are now on count down to Gordon's operation.
For those who have not spoken to Gordon in the past week he is due to have bypass surgery on the 5th of May.
Janette and Gordon will be closing the shop from 3pm Saturday 2nd of May until Janette hopefully returns on Saturday 9th of May. I will keep this page updated and we will update signage on the shop door as required.
We appreciate your support during this time and with the months ahead.
I will notify via here if things change suddenly for our open times.

Here we are again selling memoribilla leading up to ANZAC DAY. We will be outside of Coles in Highfields Plaza and outside of Woolies at the Village Shopping centre. Our times are 10am until 4pm up to Friday the 24th.
