Today we’re celebrating one of Australia’s most loved little treasures - the koala! 🇦🇺🌿

At our childcare, we’re helping our children learn about koalas, their homes, and why caring for our environment is so important. 🌳🌱

Let’s give a big 'koala hug' to our beautiful wildlife and remember that protecting nature starts with us! 🌏✨

Creating a safe sleep environment is one of the many ways we care for children each day. From following safe sleep practices and using approved cots, to completing visual checks every 5 minutes, our educators take every step to help children rest safely and comfortably.

We also work closely with families to understand each child's individual sleep routine, because feeling safe, settled and well-rested helps children learn, grow and thrive.

💜 Safe sleep is everyone's responsibility, and it's always a priority.

🌍💙 International Day of Peace | 21 September 🕊️

This year’s theme, “Invest in Peace: For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day,” reminds us that peace begins with the little things we do each day.

In our childcare community, we’re helping children learn that being peaceful can mean sharing, listening, including others, using kind words, helping a friend, and showing empathy. 🌱

Our children are the everyday architects of peace, building friendships, learning to respect differences, and discovering that even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference. ✨

🔨 Building, creating & exploring! 🔨

Our Pre-Kindy children have been getting creative with our Little Construction Tiles! 🧩

Using different shapes and colourful pieces, the children use little pretend nails and carefully hammer them into the holes to create their own patterns, pictures and designs. 🎨🔨

This hands-on activity is a wonderful way to encourage fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, problem-solving and creativity.

We love watching little minds turn simple pieces into something completely their own. 💛

With trucks rolling through the sand, castles being carefully built and little imaginations running wild, our children are busy creating their own adventures. 🏰✨

Sandpit play is so much more than fun - it encourages creativity, problem-solving, coordination, teamwork and imaginative play, all while children explore textures and experiment with what they can build and create. 👐🌱
