A busy start to the year all round! Number Talk Lessons are well underway for the Prep students to engage with at home. This week it is number eight.

End of year feels...... recording the last Prep Homework for the year with a Christmas Theme! The children and their families have truly valued the access to 'snapshot' lessons each week. The Lightboard lessons have allowed parents to be exposed to the language and strategies that teachers use in the classroom everyday, providing them with knowledge when discussing their child's learning with them. 2020 has certainly been challenging but Lightboard lessons during lockdown, online homework and pre-recorded targeted lessons on return to school have definitely been a positive.
Bonus: some 2021 lessons are already done!

Preparation for Term 4 well underway! Fun and engaging explicit teaching lessons for whole class, targeted group instruction and individual students easily created in only a few minutes using an Educational Lightboard.
Lightboard lessons allow for explicit instruction and the gradual release of responsibility to students to occur all within a few minutes.

Book Week Celebrations today! I had to take off the red wig - the children were not very impressed by it! Wonderful to see so many little people dressed up representing their favourite characters. 📚👗🦺🎩

She's not really writing that fast, and she's also not writing backwards! All we do is flip the screen as it records on the laptop or mobile device so that the student can see what we see and nobody has their back to the class!
