“Hi, I’m Jordan, I’m the floor lead at Early Learning Rituals! I’ve been working within the early years education space for nearly 10 years and am so grateful to be working alongside the incredible team at Rituals!

I was born and raised in Canada before heading off to Australia in search of new adventures and career opportunities! I landed in Perth almost 4 years ago where I’ve continued my studies and my passion for early childhood education has really grown! When I’m not at Rituals you can find me on the beach, camping or spending time with the people who make Perth feel like home.

My teaching philosophy has always been based around kindness, patience and empathy. I find everyday in this industry to be rewarding in its own way, whether it’s filled with discovery and exploration or simply being a safe space for a child. Child development is so important to support children to discover themselves and the world around them. I believe all children have the right to experience beautiful things and Rituals has provided an opportunity for that! Every child is so unique and different I feel honoured to be a starting point in their learning journey.

I believe in a child centred approach in order for every child to feel heard, be seen and know they’re capable. I’m especially passionate about the benefits of sensory exploration, embedding safe guarding skills and creating an inclusive environment where childrens rights and dignity is always valued and respected.

I feel so lucky to have found a service like Early Learning Rituals whose values align so well with mine. I’m excited to continue to share this beautiful space with the wonderful families who trust us with such an important part of their lives!”

Sometimes the most beautiful invitations take an unexpected turn 😅🌸☕️

What began as a sensory tea inspired experience, quickly became a foot bath for little feet to stomp. Child led play in its truest form. We provide the invitation & they show us where it can go 🤍

Went outside the Rituals gates and set up a Peter Rabbit theme 1st birthday small world over the weekend 🐰🫜🥕

Meet Ruby, one of our valued educators at Rituals! Our children absolutely adore Ruby and for good reason, as she is gentle, caring and ensures each child is seen 💛

“Hello! I’m Ruby, an Educator at Early Learning Rituals.

I was born in Perth but grew up in New Zealand. I completed my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care in 2017 and have worked in childcare in New Zealand, England, and now Australia. In New Zealand, I worked as a programme coordinator for out-of-school care, and in England I worked as a nanny and preschool assistant.

I love seeing the world through children’s eyes, as their curiosity and joy remind me to slow down and enjoy the moment.

In my free time, I enjoy travelling, running, soaking up the sunshine, and doing charity or volunteer work. I’ve raised money for cancer charities through various activities, volunteered at a grief camp for children who have lost loved ones in America, and taught English in Laos.

My personal philosophy, and how I align with Rituals, is about creating strong connections and a calm, caring environment. I believe children thrive when they feel seen, heard, and valued.”
