Restless Racing

Pete the Parrot has finally resurfaced after being missing in action for a few days.

After the race he enjoyed a play with the grand-puppies and, at long last, a very welcome and refreshing shower to wash off the salt water… and whatever other spray he collected along the way.

Now thoroughly dried out—inside and out—Pete is settling in for a well-earned rest until next year’s Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race. 🦜⛵😄

A great result for the crew of Restless, finishing 3rd in PHRF Modern Division Two.

Central Queensland has taken out the Teams Trophy!

Pete the parrot thoroughly enjoyed the after-party especially with crew member Kerry, and the return to familiar lights and scenery.

He’s currently in recovery mode somewhere and regrets to advise he won’t be attending the official presentations at 10am.

We look forward to joining with the rest of the crew and support team for the official trophy presentation at Port Curtis Sailing Club at 10.00am.🦜
