Reason for playing: We’re playing the festival as we really believe in the cause Rock Beats Depression is supporting. We’ve all had friends and family that have grappled with depression and we believe that bringing about more awareness and recognition of mental illness will greatly benefit anyone out there who feels alone or may be struggling.

Death in Midsummer is a 3-piece alternative rock band from Brisbane, Australia.
With atmospheric rock sounds, Death in Midsummer brings metaphoric lyrics inspired by classic literature to their expansive vocals and rich musicality. The band serves to write music that resonates with people and hits on some element of universal truth.
