Cute little Augusta cafe run by a lovely couple.

Felt like we had to return to Augusta before turning for home. I really love this beautiful little spot. It’s still remote & quaint. I guess it won’t last long and the locals tell us property sales are moving exponentially since COVID.
On our way we passed through a DPAW burn off. Not that I could see any information on websites about a porpoises burn! I wasn’t keen to drive this section of road & would have taken a different route had I known.

A breeze by Karri Valley Resort. Not keen on their new caravan park, which is off the road on the roadside. Not to be confused with their resort Villas next to the lake. The lakeside villas are in a beautiful location. Even the Emus love it.

Not quite done with walking forests & southwest waterfalls. Into Beedelup falls just out of Pemberton. Lovely morning walk around across the swing bridge. Wished I had more time to wander the tracks on this lovely bush land.

Walking The Cascades Pemberton.

A drive out to The Cascades, Pemberton. A lovely gentle walk and. Of course, more wildflowers, makes me happy! Water. Trees. Flowers and a track to follow.

Had to have a go at climbing one of the last fire lookout trees. Dave Evans bicentennial. Perhaps you younger fellas would like to go all the way to the top. I was surprised how easy the gradient of poles made it.

Camp set up at Pemberton Caravan Park - we were after power & a water tank top up.
There were lots of spots, but we chose this one by Lefroy River. Not too far from ablutions. Used a tarp at entrance to van to reduce mud transfer. Don’t forget the pegs & mallet to hold it down. Or get some other heavier matting from a place like Clark Rubber.

Some interesting facts on Circular pool & still loving the array of wildflowers.
