To everyone who turned out for Walk The Walk on Saturday: THANK YOU 🙌
We'd love to say the weather was on our side...
It was not 😆
It was wet, it was muddy, and somewhere around hour six we all stopped pretending our shoes were ever going to be dry again.
And you came anyway. You laced up, you pulled on the ponchos, and you kept putting one foot in front of the other (sometimes sliding sideways, but we count that too).
Honestly, it felt a bit like mental health. Some stretches are sunny and easy. Some are boggy and slow, and every step takes a bit more effort than it should.
To our walkers, volunteers, supporters, sponsors and everyone who cheered from under an umbrella: you turned a very soggy day at the Colac Showgrounds into something really special. We are so grateful.

Walk The Walk festival is going ahead! Today from 10am until 10pm, we walk for mental health 💙
And good news is, the kids activities will be INDOORS from 2pm, so bring the kids down for some fun on this rainy day!
No excuses now 😉
