Join Us in Advocating for Affordable, Inclusive Childcare for All!
Families with children who have disabilities face a financial burden because the current Childcare Subsidy (CCS) cap does not reflect the additional costs of specialized care. Children with disabilities often require higher staff-to-child ratios and tailored support, and the CCS cap is the same for all families—this leaves families with large out-of-pocket expenses.
The current system is creating significant stress for families, forcing them to reduce work hours, leave their jobs, or use inappropriate care options.
We need your help to change this!
We’re calling for:
· Review and increase of the CCS cap for families of children with disabilities
· Creation of a Specialised Childcare Support Fund to help childcare providers cover the higher costs of specialized services like Ruby & Ollie’s All Abilities Childcare.
