It’s kids running straight to the jumping castle.
It’s sticky fingers from fairy floss.
It’s music playing while parents dance.
It’s meeting other families who are just like yours.

Family Pride is a relaxed, joyful afternoon for LGBTQ+ parents, carers & kids to come together, connect, and celebrate community. No pressure, no expectations, just a space where families can show up exactly as they are and most importantly HAVE FUN!

Here’s a little of what’s waiting for you:

🏍️ D***s on Bikes opening the event at 2pm
👑 Queen performances and story time
🎶 DJ + dancing
🏰 Jumping castle
🍿 Free popcorn and snow cones
🎨 Face painting and balloons
📚 Book reading and signing
🕷️ Spider-Man popping in to play
☕ DHC Coffee and a free Byron Bay Cookie
🫱🏽‍🫲🏼 Community groups and activities for kids

It’s colourful, welcoming and full of that beautiful “we found our people” feeling.

That's a wrap for Funlab's Week of Fun 🤩

During the Week of Fun (13-19th October), a portion from all activities at Strike, Holey Moley, Archie Brothers, Hijinx Hotel and B. Lucky and Sons were donated to headspace!!

We have been busy bees this week talking all things mental health during Qld's Mental Health Week. A big thank you to the school communities we visited and to all the young people who connected with us 💚
