Everyone here plays golf. Owners, designers, construction crew, all of them.

That's not a marketing line, it's why the courses come out the way they do. When the people shaping a green have spent their lives reading real ones, you get holes that reward a decent shot and punish a lazy one.

Geoff started this company after decades in the golf industry because he wanted mini golf built properly. Still the whole point.

The idea behind our courses is simple. Take a real golf course and shrink it.

Water hazards, sand traps, contoured greens, the sort of terrain that makes you actually read a shot. It's all there, just smaller.

The result is a round that gives a scratch golfer something to think about while a seven year old still has a great time. Once you've played one, the old putt putt courses feel a bit flat.

No fibreglass animals. No clowns. No windmills.

That's the first thing we tell people about our courses, because it's usually what they picture when someone says mini golf. What we build instead is landscaping and shaped terrain, so the game actually plays like golf.

The gimmicks are gone. The fun very much isn't. Play it casually with the family or get properly competitive about it, both work.

A lot of clubs have ground out the back that isn't earning anything.

Clubs are under pressure to pull in people who don't currently walk through the door, and mini golf reaches exactly that crowd. Families on a Sunday afternoon. Groups who want somewhere to go before dinner rather than after it.

It runs on low staffing and it sits alongside the bistro and the bar instead of competing with them. Most clubs find the food and beverage lift matters as much as the green fee.

There aren't many activities where a four year old, their parents and their grandparents all play the same game and the four year old occasionally wins.

Mini golf does that, which is why the design matters more than people assume. Path widths that take a pram. Ramps between holes instead of steps. Enough room around a green for a wheelchair to get to the ball. Somewhere to sit halfway round.

None of it restricts the design, as long as it gets decided early. Retrofitting access into a finished course is expensive and it always looks like an afterthought.

Most of a mini golf build is the part nobody ever sees.

Base preparation, drainage, edging, and the fall across every green. Get that wrong and the course looks fine for two summers before it starts telling on you. Puddles that sit for days. Seams that lift.

Get it right and the course plays the same in year eight as it did on opening day.

That's the part we care about, even though it's never the part in the photos.
