Saturday 05/09/2026 we traveled up to Mareeba Cup Day with our old man ‘Inching Closer’. Lauren Guernier was back in the saddle with him jumping out in the Mareeba Cup. First time for him over that distance and he went a treat coming home for second place. Thanks again Lauren for the ride on him, you did excellent. The old man pulled up well. Mareeba Turf Club track was pretty well spot on, congratulations to the club for presenting it in such good order. Always a great day out up there.
