🎉 Exciting News for Bundoora Scout Group! 🎉

We’re thrilled to announce that Lisa, an officially booted Handfield Rover, has been invested into our Cub Scouts leadership team! 🐾

This marks our third new leader in just one month – talk about Christmas coming early for Bundoora Scout Group! 🎄✨

A huge welcome to Lisa and a big thank you to all our amazing volunteers who make Scouting possible. The future is looking bright for our Cubs! 🌟

As a Unit, we met up at the hall/den to clean up the new addition to our den. OUR GARAGE! This was previously mainly used for group storage, and now, as they have a new amazing shed, we have been given the garage as it connects to our Den. There is still group equipment in there, but we are happy to finally have the garage and use it for many things that we are planning on at the moment and it will help us develop the rest of the Rover Den. Now, there is plenty of room to swing a cat around in here. Or maybe room for something else... 🚕🚕

A great big thanks to for coming all the way to Bundoora from Melton to teach us how to use a heat press with dtf transfers. We would have been lost without you! 😊😊

Earlier this month, we held a Boot Ceremony for Cameron Phillips, who joined our unit back in September 2023 and turned 26 in November 2024. He may have only been in the unit for 14 months, but it felt like a lot more than that.

SomeBODY once told me… that SwampMoot was gonna be SHREKTACULAR! 🧅🐉🏕️ From swamp adventures to fairy-tale chaos, we lived our best ogre lives. We even took a trip down to Funkytown... Well the beach!

We have collated many photos of our adventurers from 2024 and are hoping for many, many more together in 2025.

Recently, we had a Hatchet Throwing night out at Wattle Glen Scout Hall. It was awesome being able to throw and not having to wait your turn. However, we all had sore arms afterwards from too much throwing. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and we even had a few members skilled enough to stick all three of their hatchets in the taget at a time.

Thanks to Scott Matthews and Greg Thompson for running this night for our Unit. It was really fun would definitely do it again!!

This weekend, our newly elected Unit Leader, Drew Hogan, completed their Unit Management Course at Treetops.

Also, our Rover Advisor, Peter, attended the Rover Advisor seminar.

Thank you to the Victorian Rover Council for these amazing opportunities for us to learn and develop as a unit. We are excited to have more members attend future courses.
