Disappointed is an understatement!

From teammate contact, to engine issues, to bonnet pins failing and the bonnet flying up, it felt like everything that could go wrong did go wrong this weekend.

Motorsport is a tough sport, and sometimes the challenges off the track can be just as difficult as the ones on it. While the results weren’t what we were hoping for, I took away some valuable lessons. This weekend reminded me that racing isn’t always about results it’s about learning, progressing, and how you respond when things don’t go your way.

It also showed me who is willing to stand by you during the tough moments, and for that I’m incredibly grateful.

Race Results

Qualifying
P21

Race 1
Started: P21
Finished: P15

Race 2
Started: P15
Finished: P10

Race 3
Started: P10
Finished: DNF (Bonnet pin failure)

Race 4
Started: P27
Finished: DNF (Engine overheating)

Following Race 4, I made the decision to withdraw from the remainder of the weekend due to fatigue and the mental toll of the challenges we faced. While it wasn’t an easy decision, it was the right one at the time.

Despite my own setbacks, congratulations to the team on their strong results throughout the weekend.

I don’t often do this, but I believe it’s important to acknowledge the people who supported me when things weren’t going to plan.

A huge thank you to:

Fraser, Ashton, Gary, and everyone at OTAP for your support and encouragement.

The entire team at JP Sports for all your help throughout the weekend.

I’d also like to thank my sponsors for their continued support:
