A growing series of open-ended engineering challenge cards designed to spark creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking and plenty of laughter. Each collection includes 30 unique challenges that encourage children to imagine, build, test and try again.

📖 Curious Days Together
A gentle printable learning companion for ages 5–8, filled with stories, nature, hands-on activities and invitations to slow down, wonder and learn together.

Although these resources are very different, they share the same heart: helping children become curious, capable and confident learners.

We're putting the finishing touches on everything now and can't wait to share more over the coming weeks.

Many people discover SproutEd through our educational resources and are surprised to learn that hands-on learning is also a huge part of what we do.

Australis Wood Studio is the maker education and workshop branch of SproutEd Learning Hub.

It's a place where learning comes alive through creativity, practical skills and real-world experiences.

Through workshops, classes and creative programs, participants have opportunities to:

🪵 Build confidence through hands-on projects
🪵 Develop creativity and problem-solving abilities
🪵 Learn by doing
🪵 Experience the satisfaction of creating something with their own hands

While SproutEd provides resources, guidance and educational support, Australis provides opportunities to put learning into action.

We recently read The Big Book of Australian Nursery Rhymes together, and it quickly became one of those books we kept coming back to.

It’s simple in the best kind of way—rhythm, repetition, and beautiful illustrations that invite you to slow down, notice, and talk together.

What I loved most was how differently it was enjoyed in our home… one child was drawn to the rhythm and visuals, while the other used it as a springboard to explore more about Australian animals.

It’s a lovely reminder that books don’t need to be complicated to be meaningful.
