Heaps has been going on and my clients are smashing it.
Here is deadlifting 85kg 3 weeks ago
This was a week after changing to sumo as I found she has a more comfortable and consistent set up.
Some fine tuning with positioning and the sky is the limit!
Client working on deadlifts here.
Main focus being keeping bar close weight back and pushing through the heels.
Big improvements in a short space of time!
Massive progress from where Anita started.
Concentrating on controlling the concentric phase, whilst keep back tight and glutes on.
Heel are raised due to poor ankle mobility but we are still working towards working off the floor flat.

OK I'm BACK!!
After not posting here for a while I thought it would be a good time to share some motivation!
It is easy to feeling, as we are in the depths of winter, that it will be dark forever! That summer will never come.
It is during this time you get unmotivated to go to the gym, for that walk or go to work.
But what I want to leave you with today is just a realization, and we all know it, that the sunshine is coming, the days are getting longer and it will be easier!
The ground work is made today though! The rewards will come with the work of today!
So what do you say?

Hi all! Welcome to the page!
I was thinking of things to write.....It has taken a while haha
There are so many topics out there it's pretty hard to know where to start. So I'll start at the beginning!
I have embarked on a new career! A career to improvement the health and wellbeing of others through strength and movement.
The gym changed my life. From
- first stepping foot in merimbula health and fitness
- doing my cert III & IV in fitness
- being introduced into powerlifting
- getting involved with REALMovement
- changing towns and careers
So I'm interested to know from others what it is they want out of the gym, box, squat place ect.
Is it a back bridge? Or a handstand? 300kg deadlift? Lose 20kg?
What drives you?
For me it's personal strength and mobility. 1 min handstand by the end of the year. 500kg total in powerlifting.
