This Elm tree was exhibiting signs of decline. Wounding to the trunk indicated potential decay pockets, but the extent of decay was far more significant than expected.

This Melaleuca located in a primary school had a partial stem failure. Canopy reduction was conducted in conjunction with installation of steel bracing rods to prevent tree failure.

Subsequent inspections as part of our Tree Management Plan demonstrates that the tree has responded well to the remedial works conducted.

A great example of how proactive tree management can prolong the lives of our trees!

Significant root damage occurred to a mature Liquidamber during construction. Non-destructive root investigation was conducted to determine tree viability. Results indicated adequate root mass to support retention, which is a great outcome considering structural root damage generally results in tree removal.

It doesn't get much tighter than this when it comes to tree removals! 😉

3 years ago we removed 3 Lombardy Poplars for a client in South Yarra. The canopies had died back, one had extensive cavity at the base and were causing damage to surrounding retaining walls. Since the removals the clients have had drainage issues and excessive water run off due the removal of these trees. Today we planted two fastigiate Pin Oaks (Quercus palustris ’Green Pillar’) .park.tree.farm . They should enjoy the extra moisture and solve the drainage problem

What happens when ⚡️lightning⚡️ strikes a 100 year old Dawn Redwood tree in Melbourne? Not too much it would seem! Tree Response conducted an aerial inspection to assess the tree and found only superficial damage, with very little lasting damage to the structure and integrity of the tree.
