Meet Dave 👋

David Hoffman is our Strength Coach, and the expert behind a lot of the heavy lifting that happens on the floor at Perf HQ.

He's coached powerlifters from across the world to national titles and international success, and he's competed on the world stage himself. That combination means he knows what the platform demands, and he knows how to get an athlete there.

What sets Dave apart in person is the eye. He'll spot the technical fault you didn't know you had, build the programming to fix it, and keep you accountable session to session. Training under him is hands-on, with constant feedback and a plan that's built around you and where you're trying to get to.

Whether you're seeking general strength and conditioning training, chasing your first competition total or fine tuning for nationals, Dave coaches you in the room, in real time.

PerforMotion Rehab and Performance in Teneriffe is growing, and we're looking for the right person to join our team. You'll work alongside experienced coaches and allied health professionals, build a diverse caseload across NDIS, DVA, Medicare, and private health, and do your best work in a facility purpose built for both recovery and performance.

We're after someone who can build genuine rapport, takes initiative in their day to day, and is driven to keep developing their skills.
Our new staff member will be comfortable networking with the community and other medical and allied health professionals.

That's a wrap on the week at Perf HQ.

Two client wins worth sharing, and both of them happened entirely online.

Chris reached out to Josh Quan from the Netherlands with neck and mid back pain that had stuck around through three different physios in his home town. It was affecting his sleep, his day to day, and his training. Squatting and benching had become a grind.

We identified the movement restrictions driving it, built targeted work into his daily routine, and worked alongside his powerlifting coach to weave it directly into his program. Three weeks on, Chris is pain free and has dropped the daily exercises altogether because the right work now lives inside his training.

Then there's Margit. She originally came to us for online rehab with Tom Haynes for severe thoracic outlet syndrome. In a few days she steps onto the platform at the Open World Powerlifting Championships, coached by Monica De La Torres, online Perf Powerlifting Coach.
