With more than 25 years of experience as a mining geologist, Rayleen helps operations connect what was planned with what was actually mined and processed. Her work with Reconcilor focuses on improving transparency, trust in data, and alignment across the mining value chain.

One of her most challenging projects involved a large, multi-site gold operation where each site used different systems, processes, and reconciliation definitions. As a Senior Consultant in Geostatistics and Data Science, Roberto helps mining teams turn limited sample data into reliable 3D models and practical insight. With expertise across resource estimation, uncertainty assessment, implicit geological modelling, and tools such as Isatis.neo, Isatis.py, and Supervisor, he supports clients through training, consulting projects, and complex modelling workflows.

His project experience spans global mining operations, including lateritic nickel work with Weda Bay in Indonesia and short-term estimation scripting for one of the world’s largest mining companies, with scripts that remain in use today.

Roberto’s work highlights the specialist depth behind Datamine’s geostatistics expertise, combining academic rigour, programming capability, and practical consulting experience to help clients model uncertainty and make more confident resource decisions.

From chemistry graduate in Zambia to Laboratory Informatics Consultant at Datamine, Grant Munatsi’s journey shows how hands-on laboratory experience can become a powerful driver of digital transformation in mining.

With more than 15 years of experience across chemistry, lab operations, and laboratory systems, Grant helps mining and metals laboratories implement and optimise LIMS solutions that make their work smoother, faster, and more reliable.

His project experience includes supporting LIMS implementations in challenging site environments, including an on-site project in Eritrea where he continued implementation remotely while quarantined during COVID. He has also helped solve a long-standing processing plant reconciliation issue by improving how sample collection times were captured, creating a practical solution that is still in use today.

Grant brings a rare combination of lab knowledge, systems expertise, and client-focused problem-solving. For Datamine clients, that means technology is not only implemented, but shaped around the real pressures of laboratory accuracy, compliance, and day-to-day performance.
