Christine Stevenson, Judy Laing, Deanna Merrin, Linda Berry and Peggy Maher attended the Volunteers Morning Tea, at Caboolture, for CADA - Centre Against Domestic Abuse. One of the local community groups in the Moreton Bay region, QCWA Pine Rivers supports each year with fundraising.

A successful day for QCWA Greater Brisbane Division. Thankyou to all the Convenors, Cookery team, Sewing, International Handcraft, K and C and Patchwork for your efforts today. If I missed someone apologies. Next year please let's do a little more for the Competitions. The Committees and Convenors go above and beyond.

Last Thursday Christine S and I visited Salisbury State School to talk to Students about the Ekka then and now. Christine had first hand knowledge as her parents and Grandparents lived across the road from the Ekka during the 1930's onwards. An amazing day being part of Miss Uppys class. A big shout out to the wonderful teachers out there. Your patience, caring nature and resiliance is appreciated. Also we saw first hand how great the office staff were handling little ones needs.
