Natural Timber & Textured Glass - A Natural Pairing

Warm timber and arctic glass have a lovely way of balancing one another - one bringing depth, grain and warmth, the other catching light and softening what lies beyond.

Here, the timber has been left close to its natural character with a clear sanding sealer, allowing the variation and texture of the grain to remain part of the finish.

The arctic glass brings a softer quality to the light, diffusing the view while maintaining the sense of brightness that makes textured glass so appealing.

It’s a combination that feels at home in the relaxed character of Queenslander, Federation and traditional Australia homes - natural materials, gentle light and details that don’t need to compete for attention.

Sometimes, the simplest material combinations have the greatest impact on a home.
