Dear friends, Trans:Com is very proud to announce the general release on 21st of May 2021 of Phase 2 of the BNE Archive; featuring reissues from some of Brisbane's finest originators of electronic music, including Vision Four 5, Stormboy, and Jandy Rainbow.

Vision Four 5 - Deep Fantasy Redux: This deluxe edition collects for the first time Vision Four 5’s works produced in Brisbane and released across two cassettes and a vinyl EP during 1990/1991. Available exclusively through Trans:Com will be a limited edition Digipak CD, as well as the digital album on Bandcamp. Additionally, a handful of exquisitely rare copies of the original vinyl EP released by Symedia (the band's own label at the time) - have been unearthed from the "Area 51 warehouse".

Stormboy (Deluxe Edition): Murray Antill’s stunning (and long out of print) album from 1997, reissued with 2 brand new remixes and a rare compilation track.

Jandy Rainbow - Travellers (Deluxe Edition): A wonderful reissue of Jandy Rainbow’s debut album from 1997, including four bonus rarities that appeared on compilations from the period, plus a previously unreleased remix.

It is with great sadness that TransCom found out today that Michael Gudinski has passed. Michael was the brains of Mushroom Records. He cultivated and supported the careers of many Australian artists and for that we thank him. He was so young, just 68. I'm sure he had so much he had yet to do. RIP!!!!!!!

in 1997 Trans:Com released the seminal debut album Empiricism 7 from Low Key + N**e. Low Key Operations (Michael Hogg) debuted on the Cyberia compilation in 1995 with several cutting breakbeat techno tracks, and by 1997 had progressed far beyond that into experimental dark techno territory; truly original. N**e Productions (Clare McGrogan) added her emotive spoken word performance, completing a picture of unique experimentation and originality. The CD was launched at the (original) IMA on Ann & Gipps St, supported by VISI (Andy Bagley) and Tryptych along with an amazing visual art exhibition. in 2013 Trans:Com released the Moment EP from The Isle. Usually focused on the label and its other bands & artists, Anna & Dennis (as The Isle) occasionally find time to produce their own unique combination of synth-pop and electronica. Moment is a concise and intriguing 4-track EP, led by the electro/pop Union and single La Femme Exotique.
