www.batrium.com Welcome to Batrium! Our product's modular nature allows easy expansion and reconfiguration depending on your needs or requirements.

The Batrium BMS is highly configurable, both hardware and software, allowing battery systems with a few cells up to hundreds of cells. Seamlessly link with a PC-based software that works throughout your home network (WiFi network). Yes, that means wireless battery management and monitoring at your convenience.

Configuring a BMS involves more than setting a single maximum or minimum voltage. Charge limits, balancing thresholds, warnings, critical protection levels and circuit-breaker disconnect settings all need to work together in the correct order.

In this video, Jaron from Batrium demonstrates the visual configuration guides built into the Batrium BMS app.

Using the Batrium test LTO battery system, we look at how the **Volt Guide** brings the different voltage-related settings together into a single visual view. This makes it much easier to understand how each threshold relates to the others and identify settings that may be out of sequence or conflict with another protection level.

The guide displays both **individual cell voltage** and the corresponding **battery pack voltage**, helping when moving between cell-level BMS settings and pack-level measurements from the shunt.

We also demonstrate the **Temperature Guide**, which applies the same visual approach to battery temperature limits — from the normal operating region through warning and protection thresholds to critical high- and low-temperature shutdown conditions.

These visual guides are designed to make advanced Batrium BMS configuration easier to understand while also providing a useful overview when troubleshooting an existing battery system.

In this video:
• Navigating the Batrium BMS configuration
• Why changing one setting can affect other protection thresholds
• Using the Volt Guide
• Visualising cell-voltage protection levels
• Comparing cell voltage with calculated pack voltage
• Understanding the progression from normal operation to critical protection
• High- and low-voltage battery disconnect thresholds
• Using the Temperature Guide
• High- and low-temperature protection
• Using the guides as a troubleshooting overview

The Batrium BMS includes extensive configuration options so systems can be adapted for different battery chemistries, pack configurations and applications. The visual guides help bring these settings together so their relationship can be checked at a glance.

Boost your Batrium CellMate-K9 balancing from around 1Ah/day to as much as 12Ah/day with a simple cooling fan.

In this video, Jaron demonstrates how to add a fan to the *Batrium CellMate-K9* and explains why even a small amount of airflow can make such a big difference to sustained cell balancing.

Without forced airflow, the K9 may achieve around *1 Ah of balancing per day*, depending on the installation. Although balancing power can peak at around *20 W*, thermal limits mean the K9 spends much of its time waiting to cool down.

Add a small fan blowing across the heatsink and the K9 can dissipate substantially more heat — allowing up to *120 W peak balancing power and approximately 12 Ah/day of balancing*.

That's particularly useful during the initial balancing and commissioning of a battery where larger differences between cells may need to be corrected.

# # # In this video

• ~1 Ah/day vs up to 12 Ah/day balancing
• Why cooling increases sustained balancing performance
• Recommended **60 × 60 × 10 mm fan**
• Correct fan airflow direction
• Installing the supplied nylon standoffs
• Why nylon — not metal standoffs are used
• Attaching the fan to the CellMate-K9
• Reassembling the K9 into its DIN-rail enclosure
• Upcoming automatic fan power and switching solution

The fan doesn't need to create a hurricane. A small amount of steady airflow directed **towards the K9 heatsink** is enough to make a significant difference.

Batrium will also be introducing a solution to power the fan and automatically switch it on when balancing is active, making installation even easier.
