Important Update on Cosmetic Injectables advertising in Australia

From September 2, 2025, new rules from AHPRA & TGA mean you’ll notice changes in how clinics talk about cosmetic services online.

Here’s what it means for you:

●No more “before & after” pics, testimonials, or influencer promos
● No terms like “anti-wrinkle injections” or “dermal fillers” in ads
● No "fun" and interactive posts with dancing, comedy or emojis
●Only factual, educational info will be shared
●Your safety and informed choice come first
●Providers must clearly state who the qualified practitioner is, including qualifications and registration

These changes are all about protecting consumers, avoiding misleading promises, and making sure you can make safe, informed decisions.
