Bathurst Thoroughbred Racing

🐴🐴TRACK UPDATE | Bathurst Thoroughbred Racing 🐴🐴
Following concerns raised regarding the racing surface at our September meeting, Bathurst Thoroughbred Racing has been working closely with Racing NSW and track consultant Tony Brabender to identify and address the issues.
A program of remedial works has now been completed, including deep slicing, aeration, irrigation and adjustments to the running rail at the home turn.
This morning, four horses galloped on the Course Proper under the supervision of Racing NSW Stewards, with all riders providing positive feedback on the surface and reporting no concerns.
The Club will continue working closely with Racing NSW in the lead-up to our next race meeting on Friday, 16 October, to ensure the track is presented in the best possible condition.
