Celebrating 30 Years!
This morning we welcomed in a special group of visitors getting together to celebrate 30 years since the 1996 Bathurst 1000 victory for the Holden Racing Team. A few of the guys had been around a little while before 1996, and we took the opportunity to grab this photo in our Peter Brock: King of the Mountain special exhibition- can you see who is who from the iconic 1984 poster?
The National Motor Racing Museum is open all through race weekend, and we’re located at Murray’s Corner!

This morning we managed to catch four time Bathurst 1000 winner Jamie Whincup for a quick signature on our wall of winners!

Welcome Beth!
Arriving just in time for the Bathurst 1000 is our latest addition to the Peter Brock: King of the Mountain special exhibition!
Better known as Beth, HRT030 was built in 1994 as a VP Commodore, before conversion to VR specifications for the 1995 season. Brock drove the car in the 1994 Bathurst 1000 alongside Tomas Mezera, and the first half of the 1995 ATCC season.
The car has just finished a long term restoration and is on show here at Mount Panorama for the very first time. The car will be departing on Monday morning, so don’t miss your chance to come and take a look at this beautiful car!
Thanks go to the owner for entrusting us with Beth for her first public showing!
The National Motor Racing Museum is located outside of Murray’s Corner, and we’re open until 4:30pm today, and then from 8:30am to 4:30pm Friday and Saturday, and 9am to 4:30pm on Sunday. Please note - admission charges to the Museum apply through the Bathurst 1000 event period.

Wheel Wednesday!
It’s race week, but we didn’t forget!

Progress Update!
For those of you that saw the photos of the build in our car park earlier this week, we’re happy to show you the latest from Peter’s Pitlane!
The eight very special cars will arrive soon, all set to open to the public first thing tomorrow morning!

A Very Special Arrival!
Just coming through the door is the 2018 Bathurst 1000 winning ZB Commodore driven by Craig Lowndes and Steve Richards, on display for the very first time since returning to the race winning colours!

Out For The Weekend!
This morning we said a temporary farewell to a couple of the stars of our collection, with the 1976 and 1977 Bathurst 1000 winners off for a few days on display in the Mount Panorama pits and FOX Sports Australia TV studio!
Never fear, we’ve got a couple of exciting things coming soon to fill the gaps!
Brad’s Tour!
It was great to have the team from Brad Jones Racing with us last night for their pre-Bathurst team dinner, and even better to hear some of Brad’s memories from some of the cars in our Peter Brock: King of the Mountain special exhibition!

Race Week - Tuesday!
It’s great to see so many of you coming through the National Motor Racing Museum as we head towards this year’s Bathurst 1000!
We’re open until 4:30pm again today, and we will also have merchandise and souvenirs on sale at the Fan Fest event in Kings Parade this evening!
During the next few days, we’re also expecting a couple of new arrivals into our display ahead of the Great Race, so keep an eye on our page for updates as the week continues!
