Something a bit different from the normal hockey content

Last weekend was the inaugral Community Cup hosted by Newcastle Northstars Ice Hockey Club to raise funds for . It was a great day of 3v3 hockey with the eventual winners being Team Shabba who took out the final in OT against the Oi Boys.

Last weekend saw the inaugural Community Cup hosted by Newcastle Northstars Ice Hockey Club. It was a great event to raise money with one cause in mind, . Part of the event was an ice bucket challenge as seen in the photos below.

Game 4 of the State of Origin series between NSW and QLD. This game went to the wire with the end result being a tie at 2-2. The deciding two games will be played this weekend up in Queensland at the Boondall Ice Rink.
