Faith Lutheran College’s Primary Campus holds a special place in the Barossa’s history, and we’re incredibly proud to have played a role in preserving a small part of it.

We were engaged as the builder to deliver the fitout for the new Foundation Centre within one of Australia’s oldest school buildings, originally established in 1865. From the outset, the focus was not just on modernising the space, but on respecting the history that came before it.

One particularly special discovery was a series of 1960s student Christmas drawings hidden beneath layers of paint on the original classroom blackboards. Rather than leaving this piece of history forgotten, the paint was carefully scraped back to reveal and preserve the original artwork in its authentic form. The restored blackboards have now been thoughtfully framed and integrated into the new space — allowing old stories to sit comfortably alongside new beginnings.

A special mention to Architect Craig Vale, whose passion for restoring and preserving these blackboards helped ensure this unique piece of the school’s history could live on for future generations.
It was an honour to be trusted with a project that not only creates a new learning environment, but also helps preserve such meaningful educational history.

Around here we say he “bleeds orange.” He’s one of us through and through.

Marian West Campus Stage 1A is officially open at Cardijn College, with the new assembly hall now in use. We’re proud to have delivered the joinery package for this space, bringing warmth, function and durability to a key part of the campus.
