We’re not just facing a cost-of-living crisis ,we’re in a cost-of-doing-business crisis, too. Small businesses are the backbone of our community, yet many are struggling just to keep their doors open. Rising electricity and water bills, insurance costs, ESL, and soaring rents are pushing too many local businesses to the brink. As someone who has owned and operated a small local business for over seventeen years, I know exactly how tough it is. I’ve lived it. I understand the pressure, the sacrifices, and the resilience it takes to stay afloat. This experience is one of the key strengths I will bring to Parliament. I’ll be a strong voice for local business owners. Listening, advocating, and fighting for fair, sustainable conditions that allow our community to thrive. Our local businesses deserve better.
