RBA Cuts Interest Rates to 3.6%

The Reserve Bank of Australia has lowered rates by 0.25% to help ease inflation and support the economy.

Why the cut?
🏷 Inflation is cooling – now close to the RBA’s 2–3% target.
🌏 Global uncertainty – trade tensions & economic risks abroad

What’s happening in Australia?
📊 Inflation: 2.1% (lowest since 2021)
👷‍♂️ Unemployment: 4.3%
💰 Wages: Rising strongly

Looking ahead:
Rates could drop further to 3.35% by year-end if inflation stays low.

What it means for you:
✅ Lower borrowing costs (hello, smaller mortgage repayments)
✅ More breathing room for household budgets
✅ Cautious approach from the RBA to keep the economy steady
