Webb Street Reserve Playground has received a commendation at the Parks & Leisure SA/NT Awards of Excellence. Congratulations to the City of Burnside on this recognition!

Delivered by the LCS Construction team, this nature-inspired playspace features inclusive play elements, butterfly-themed water play, and accessible communication boards.

It's fantastic to see the playground being so well received by the community. Well done to our team Scott, Neil, Charlie, Brad and Jamie on bringing this project to life.

Practical conversations build stronger teams.

Last week, our Custom Built and Fencing teams came together for a toolbox meeting at our Southern Depot. With the recent influx of wet weather, it was a timely conversation. Conditions can shift quickly on site, and taking the time to stop, talk, and check in properly matters.

These meetings help keep safety front of mind across LCS. They give our teams a chance to share what they are seeing on the ground, learn from each other, and stay aligned before the work begins.

LCS has been maintaining some of the State’s most visited cultural sites across the Adelaide’s Arts Precinct, including the State Library, SA Film Studios, SA Museum, Migration Museum, Old Armoury Building and Police Barracks.

Well done to our Grounds & Gardens crew who stays flexible and responsive, adapting to what each day brings to keep these dynamic spaces looking their best!

In recognition of National Reconciliation Week, we are reflecting on projects where we have had the privilege of collaborating with First Nations artists.

These partnerships speak to our values as a business, and our commitment to respect, inclusion, and ongoing learning from First Nations knowledge, culture, and perspectives. Through collaboration, we continue to see the importance of designing with care and creating places that honour cultural identity, connection to Country, and the stories embedded in place.

Green areas do more than just enhance the aesthetics of urban space.

Well-maintained green space can reduce urban heat, filter rainwater, as well as create opportunity for calm, play, and connection - all part of why we love installing and maintaining healthy turf.

Our hydroseeding mix comes with a temporary biodegradable dye, helping to track coverage and make sure every pass is even and consistent.

Hydroseeding is the hydraulic application of a mixture of seed, water, fertiliser, and tackifiers with either paper mulch, wood fibres, or cellulose mulch - all working together to establish vegetation efficiently at scale.

At LCS, we are among a small number of accredited landscape companies offering hydroseeding using endemic species, underpinned by many years of successful delivery.

Play is how children explore the world, and it's our job to build spaces that make those moments possible.

Every playspace we bring to life is designed for safety, fun, and longevity, so it performs just as beautifully on day 1000 as it does on day one.
