Happy 10 years to the Scale Modellers Supply!

I can personally vouch for SMS paints as a superb product, having used their premium lacquers for many years… Scott of SMS paint is an avid supporter of many Scale model clubs and shows across Australia, and has been a steadfast supporter and trader of SA Scale Model Expo for many years!

SMS will be back again this year as sponsor and trader at South Australia Scale Model Expo 26!

10 years and one bottle that changed our lives.

Today marks exactly a decade since our first paints were launched to the Australian market. Looking back to where this all started, it’s hard to believe how far the journey has taken us. I still remember that first day and how nervous I was. I knew it was a great product, but would everyone else? Would it work? Would it fail? Time would be the ultimate judge. So, what began as a personal mission to create a better product for fellow modellers has grown into something beyond our wildest dreams—operating out of our custom factory in Ballarat, Victoria, shipping premium paints not only across Australia but also worldwide to NZ, Canada, the USA and the UK, and closing in on a massive milestone of nearly 1,000,000 units sold.

But none of those numbers matter without the people behind them.

To our incredible, tight-knit production and packaging team: my wife Katrina, along with Sharron and Thomas, thank you for your dedication, your precision, and for putting your heart into every single bottle that leaves our doors.

And to you, our friends and fans — the scale modellers and creators all over the globe. Thank you for trusting us with your projects, and for sharing your incredible talent with us. Every masterpiece you build inspires us to keep pushing the boundaries of what we do.

We started this journey as modellers, and a decade later, we are still modellers at heart and that will never change. Thank you all for an unforgettable 10 years! - Scott
