We specialise in strategic and technology foresight exploring futures for emerging technologies, cities and sustainability. We do work through facilitation, teaching & workshops (Dr Kristin Alford) and animation & visuals (James Hutson). We also run events & community building including TEDxAdelaide, Twitter chat #onsci and science engagement program "I'm a Scientist, Get Me out of Here!"

From February 1st, Kristin will be the inaugural Director of the Science, Creativity and Education (Sci.C.Ed) Studio at the University of South Australia. The Studio will open in 2018 as part of the new Health Innovation Building under construction on North Terrace, Adelaide.
UniSA wants to completely change how you see science SCIENCE is too often viewed in isolation, Dr Kristin Alford says, and it’s her new job to help the rest of us connect it to peace, joy, ambition — and just about everything else.

The Interrobang?!
Kristin Alford and I'm a Scientist alumni Upulie Divisekera are both on the Brains Trust for this new festival, tasked with responding to crowd-sourced questions such as "Why are people nicer when it's your birthday?", "What future do we want - and deserve?", "How does the world end?" and "Does science fiction give us an unrealistic expectation that we can effectively inhabit Mars".

Recently Kristin spoke to the Platform Shift Creative Forum is Lisbon (via Skype). This is a gathering of theatre makers creating new works engaging young people in the digital age, and she spoke about the five senses needed to create futures.
