Never thought i could hear a half db difference. But thete ya go..... playing around with a massively compressed track (no dynamics, pretty much a brick waveform). Very small adjustments (1.5db max), sounds a lot cleaner and punchy)!
To be honest, been schooled big time on what to listen for. If only i knew this years ago (but having said that. There wasn't really an accessible internet back then, you learned directly from people. I worked with and for people that actually knew their s**t).
Am gearing up for a new YouTube channel (not mine.....)
Have watched a few channels lately, and sound is the dearh knoll. If its not good, hard to watch.

Playing around with this compressor ! Awesome sound when you get it right!
In over 12 years of mixing live audio, we only really ever used compressors and limiters to protect thr hardware, not so much to shape sound.
Didn't have an undo button back then either. Everything done on a per second basis!
Same goes for all you lighting guys back then as well!

Quick and nasty Photoshop composite testing out some new methods.

Have an interesting shoot this week.
Charging batteries for remotes, cameras, and strobes.
Strobes alone take 4-5hrs each to charge. This is a small battery as well, 6600mAh.
Makes EV charging look quite quick. Hopefully the tech may one day get to camera gear!
