Libraries have long played an important role in the lives of South Australians. They connect people with information, ideas, learning opportunities, technology, local history and each other. They support lifelong learning, literacy, creativity and community wellbeing.

As communities change, so do the opportunities and challenges facing libraries.

The Libraries Board of South Australia is developing an integrated Strategic Plan 2027-2032 that will guide the future of the State Library and public libraries across our state and is seeking input from South Australians to help inform that work.

Whether you're a regular public library user, an occasional visitor, a parent, student, educator, researcher, community member or someone who values the role libraries play in society, we want to hear from you.
