🚦 SCHOOL ZONES — a South Australian road law every driver should know.

In a school zone the maximum speed is 25 km/h when children are present. It applies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round (school holidays included) — but only when a child is within the zone: on the road, footpath, median strip, or a bicycle. A “child” means anyone under 18, or a student of any age in school uniform.

The zone runs from the 25 WHEN CHILDREN PRESENT sign to the END SCHOOL ZONE sign. Stay at 25 or below, and be ready to stop — kids are still learning how roads work. 💙
