For me, Diwali is more than lights and celebrations—it’s a reminder of the rhythms of life. Like the intricate patterns of rangoli, our lives move in cycles: moments of light, moments of darkness, endings that become beginnings. 🌙🌟

Diwali symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil, embodying a continuous cycle of renewal, growth, and hope. It reminds us of the power of inner growth, the return of light and prosperity after times of hardship, and the importance of nurturing our inner strength, wisdom, and resilience as we move through life’s changing phases.

Each diya we light reflects hope, each pattern we create symbolizes the flow of life, and every flicker of light reminds us that even after darkness, renewal is always possible. Diwali is a celebration of growth, reflection, and embracing new phases, honouring both the past and the possibilities ahead.

I’m so excited to be collaborating with two beautiful and talented women Dot Wannenburg & Hope and Harmony for a soulful afternoon retreat that brings together gentle Hatha yoga & meditation, a deeply relaxing sound bath, and a creative mandala art experience (with tea, of course!).

Each offering is beautiful on its own, but together they create something truly special — a chance to reconnect, replenish, and express yourself in a supportive, uplifting space.

We’ve designed this offering with so much love and intention — to give you the space to move gently, rest deeply, and reconnect with your inner self in a really nurturing environment.

✨ A journey through stillness, creativity, and self-expression ✨️

Our Yin Yoga & Mandala Creative Expression workshop was such a heartwarming experience! We began with a grounding Yin Yoga session guided by Dot Wannenburg from YogaSpot with Dot, allowing our bodies and minds to surrender into deep relaxation. From that stillness, we flowed into creativity—expressing ourselves through mandala art, embracing colours, patterns, and intuition.

Seeing everyone immerse themselves in the process, finding joy in the moment, and creating something meaningful was truly inspiring. Grateful for this beautiful collaboration and for each soul who joined!

With her deep understanding of Yin Yoga, she guides students through gentle yet profound practices that help release tension, restore balance, and cultivate inner peace.
